Irie Farms

Total Acreage: 30
Project Begun: 2021

A success story in dedication to healing the ecosystem, Irie Farms has been fully converted to organic land; part of a process that was started in 2014. Our work at Irie Farms is part of an ongoing Forest Management Plan that aims to foster and protect the regeneration of native species that will form the bedrock of a healthy ecosystem. This work has included aggressive removal of invasive species and planting of over 120 native trees, restoration of woods, prairie and wetlands. Irie Farms is also host to a rich bounty of local native ramps, hen of the woods, and many fruit bearing trees and shrubs that provide food and habitat for pollinators and other indigenous wildlife.
